I got up early to go to work. They gave us free lunch.
After finding photos of a Christmas Parade in Belarus, ice swimmers in Berlin and a Santa race in Lithuania (among other duties), I drove home in the rain.
I got to watch my parents open presents with FaceTime™, then called my older brothers. By the time I started cooking dinner, the rain turned to snow so I cancelled my plan to go out for a movie. Instead, I caught the last showing of "A Christmas Story" on TBS then popped open a beer and a book ("Tokyo Vice" by Jake Adelstein). Now it's 9 p.m. and I'm thinking about going to bed.
This is the first time there has been snow accumulation on Christmas Day in Atlanta since 1882.
