Memorial Day Activities

    Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It also is a long weekend increasingly devoted to shopping, family gatherings, fireworks, trips to the beach, and national media events such as the Indianapolis 500 auto race, held since 1911 on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.

    I have the day off. While I do have some meetings planned I don't have much going on today. What are you doing?

    Who wants to go shopping?

    Also, I'm hungry and I ran out of bananas for my smoothies. So I guess I should go grocery shopping...

    I've also been craving a fro-yo smoothie, might try and track one down later....

    Trying to get people to come shop in my store for a while, since I guess that's what people do.
    But I will probably lose interest at approximately 2:20pm and try to get people to go see that Avengers film with me finally.
    If nobody wants to do that I will go see Monsieur Lazhar instead.
    So, mostly, I will be trying to get people do to things.

    I am currently in bed, because my cat is sleeping under the covers. I'll stay here as long as he does.

    So far I have eaten a chocolate croissant and hard boiled egg, in bed, and rose only to fetch water and my vitamins because Alan started making music and I didn't want to bother him/he can't hear me.

    went and helped Katy and Nicole move a big-ass chicken coop into their yard
    Wrote all afternoon
    now going to band practice
    a killer day indeed, though I have yet to really eat anything

    from the studio room where Adam works on his rocketship (actually many keyboards and fancy sound machines that, when plugged in, light up like a space thing) comes this missive: "UNGH... Jesus Christ..."

    Seems like Memorial Day beats are going well!

    I am not in the bed, but am still on the bed, editing photos. If I don't leave the bedroom/house soon I will start to feel really terrible, but what a blissful morning!
